Charles R. Mahar, Jr., passed away on January 5, 2022. Mr. Mahar worked at Polaroid for 40 years before starting Enviro Corporation, a consulting company. He coached baseball teams for Bedford Recreation; was a Scout Master; and became involved in his sons’ hockey teams. He loved trap and skeet shooting as well as cowboy action shooting; was president of multiple gun clubs; and taught an MP2 gun safety course.
Visiting Hours will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home, 281 The Great Road, from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, January 17, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 10 am. Family and friends are invited.
