Girl Scouts all over Bedford and Hanscom AFB are actively selling their famous Girl Scout cookies through March 2022. Cookie Sales help the scouts learn valuable business skills and earn funds to support trips, community service, and higher awards. Cookie funds also support the Bedford Hanscom Girl Scout Scholarship – awarded each year to graduating high school seniors.
Keep an eye out on weekends for booth sales outside Ace Hardware, Northside Convenience, Starbucks, and on the Town Common, a big thanks to area businesses for welcoming the Scouts. Girls are also able to sell door-to-door this year, so you may see them closer to home.
This year a new cookie, the Adventureful has been added to the roster of traditional favorites. The Adventureful is a brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt, becoming a top seller along with Thin Mints, Caramel Delights, Lemonades, Shortbread, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, and Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip.
