For many years, a dedicated group of volunteers has been assisting taxpayers in preparing their federal and state income tax returns. Prior to the pandemic, we prepared tax returns for more than 350 clients. When the COA and Library were shut down in 2021 we continued serving our clients, meeting them in the parking lot at the COA and scanning their paperwork to our volunteers.
We are looking for additional individuals interested in joining our group. You are not required to have extensive knowledge of tax law, but if you have prepared your own returns, have been fully vaccinated, and have some time between February and April we could certainly use you.
