Ask Aunt Laura – Removing Candle Wax

October 19, 2021

I love pretty candles and candlesticks but if I’m not careful the wax drippings can get out of control and leave behind a mess.

I’m sure we have all discovered at one point or another that stuck on wax is not always easy to remove.

Placing brass candlesticks in the freezer does wonders to help the wax pop off but I didn’t find that it helped with my glass ones.

And what if the wax is on my table? I can’t exactly put that in the freezer.

So I pulled out my hairdryer, and a few minutes later my problem was solved.
