Ask Aunt Laura – Cleaning your Blender

Using a blender (or single-serve cup) sure makes life easier when making smoothies or soups, etc. However, cleaning the blender afterward does not make my list of “Fun Things to do Today”.

Getting my blender to sparkle again often involves lots of scrubbing and using what seems like gallons of soapy water. I peek inside or hold it up to the light and spot an area that still has some food stuck on it. How is that possible? More scrubbing and soapy water…

I put my Ninja – blade, cup, and lid – in the dishwasher. Easy peasy.
