Superintendent of Schools Philip Conrad is expected to discuss plans for the beginning of the school year at a virtual meeting of the School Committee Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Committee Chair Sarah Scoville said the discussion will include the wearing of masks in school buildings. But the vote on this subject won’t be until the committee’s subsequent meeting next Tuesday, Aug. 24.
“Most of the meeting will be for public comment,” Scoville said. “The majority of the time will be spent allowing the community to talk.”
The superintendent also will provide updates on regional educational collaboratives.
