Kenneth H. Konkle passed away on August 5, 2021. A long-time Bedford resident, Mr. Konkle worked at MIT’s Lincoln Laboratories for 40 years and was involved in the design of early digital computers. He served as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent at First Church of Christ, Congregational, oversaw the congregation’s pledge campaign for 15 years, and co-chaired the Church’s building committee. He was also a volunteer at the Bedford Free Public Library and in the transport department at Emerson Hospital.
A private interment will take place, followed by calling hours from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, September 10, at the First Church of Christ Congregational, 25 The Great Road. A memorial service will be held at the First Church of Christ Congregational at 11 am on Saturday, September 11, followed by a collation.
