Reading the Declaration of Independence on July Fourth

Several dozen residents gathered at Memorial Park on Sunday, July 4, to read the Declaration of Independence aloud.

OC O’Connor, immediate past commander of American Legion Post 221, leads the singing of “God Bless America” following Sunday morning’s public reading of the Declaration of Independence at Veterans Memorial Park.
