The BHA Staff and Board were sad to hear that Mr. Lewis Putney will be retiring and will not be running for the Bedford Housing Authority Board for another term. Mr. Putney has brought a wealth of knowledge and compassion to the Board. He always made time for the BHA whether it be signing checks on a weekly basis or checking on the progress of modernization projects. While we understand his decision, he will be missed greatly. We wish Lew the best.
Bedford Housing Authority Board Vacancy
The Bedford Housing Authority Board meets remotely at 7 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. No meetings are held during July and August, unless necessary. BHA meetings last approximately 1 hour. We are encouraging tenants of the Bedford Housing Authority to get involved with their community and consider running for this vacant seat.
