Mary Barbara Hitzrot (known to all as Bobbie) passed away on September 11, 2020. An RN who became a Head Nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital in the 1950s, Mrs. Hitzrot came to Carleton-Willard Village from Baltimore in 2005. Her friends provided much pleasure, but she also loved to read, do jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and kept a detailed daily calendar. Her latest hobby was playing solitaire on her new iPad.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
