Nancy E. Swenson Leupold passed away on January 26, 2020. A resident of Carleton-Willard Village, Mrs. Leupold started Support for People with Oral, Head, and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC, pronounced “Spunk”) in September of 1991. now an organization with over 120 support groups across the country.
Visiting hours will be held in Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home in Glen Cove, New York on Thursday, January 30, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be in the Reformed Church of Locust Valley on Friday, January 31, at 10 am. Interment to follow in Locust Valley Cemetery.
