Charles A. Sullivan passed away on January 5, 2020. Mr. Sullivan, a resident of Woburn, was a 22-year Veteran of the US Navy, who enlisted at age 17 in 1942. During his Navy career, he received the World War II Victory Medal, American Area Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Camp Ribbon with 2/stars. He retired from the Navy in 1964, and has worked for the past 25 years in the PX at Hanscom Air Force Base, bagging groceries. He was still working at age 94, carrying bags to his customers’ cars.
Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Monday, January 13 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be private.
