Theodore G. Rand passed away on October 1, 2019. The former Head of Meadowbrook School in Weston, Mr. Rand lived at Carleton-Willard Village for many years. In 2013, Mr. Rand was among the Village residents who participated in an oral history video project, sharing his experiences as a Ski Trooper in Northern Italy during World War II.
A Memorial Service honoring Mr. Rand is planned for the First Parish Church of Weston, 349 Boston Post Road, Weston at 11 am on Saturday, November 2.
