The Planning Board’s public hearing on a zoning bylaw amendment to allow restaurants greater than 5,000 square feet has been rescheduled to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at Town Hall, 10 Mudge Way.
Interested parties may offer testimony at the public hearing, or submit email or letters before 4 pm on February 26 that will be read into the record.
The hearing was originally scheduled for February 12 but was canceled because of weather.
The February 26 hearing will review a proposed amendment to Section 22.6.1 “Use Regulations” of Bedford’s Zoning Bylaw to add a new use designation for “Restaurants greater than 5,000 square feet GFA”, and to designate an “SP” in the GRIS, GRIM and GR/NR Districts and a “NO” in the GR/C District, and to add a new Section 22.6.3 ” Special Permit Approval Criteria”.
Details of the proposed zoning and background materials may be viewed at the Planning Department in Town Hall during normal business hours.
It is anticipated that this amendment will be placed on the warrant for the March 25, 2019, Annual Town Meeting.
