Editor’s Note: Twitter tells us, at 6 pm on Thursday, that the team has qualified for the playoffs with today’s 5-3 win over Holliston in their final regular game of the season.

The Bedford Buccaneers boys hockey team had a huge sweep against Minuteman Tech on February 18th. The boys started off strong with a goal from junior Anthony Incerto in the first quarter. They finished the first period tied 1-1.
The Bucs never slowed down and continued on throughout the game with a hat trick from Junior James Demeo and assists from Sophomore Bobby Marcus and Junior Brendan Vaughn.

Senior Chris Walsh also helped contribute to the team’s overall success with a goal, assisted again by Anthony Incerto and Sophomore Jack Venuti towards the end of the second quarter. As many goals as there were, there were also numerous goal saves by Frosh TJ Mead, allowing the team to be in a 5-1 lead.
The Bucs never gave up and went on to score 4 more goals accredited to Sophomore Adam Driscoll, Bobby Marcus (2), and Junior Brendan Vaughn assisted by Junior Sean Doucet and Jack Venuti. The Bucs play their final regular season game against Holliston. It’s a case of “Win and You’re In” for the post-season.
