Special to The Bedford Citizen

I am announcing my candidacy for re-election to the Board of Library Trustees, and I ask for your support in the Town Caucus on Tuesday and Town Election in March. For the past three years, I have had the honor of serving as a Library Trustee in Bedford and hope for the opportunity to continue that work.
Libraries today are more vital than ever. They provide more than just books, periodicals, movies, and music to their patrons, they offer something even more essential, information experts.
Whether adopting a new puppy, welcoming a new baby, buying a house, starting a business, or attempting to understand a new diagnosis, many major life journeys begin with a visit to the library and the guidance of a librarian therein. That is why I am so dedicated to libraries in general and the Bedford Free Public Library in particular.
With your support, I will work to continue the Bedford Free Public Library’s record of high quality, friendly, professional service to the town. I look forward to continuing serving the needs and interests of Bedford as a member of the Board of Library Trustees for another term.
Respectfully submitted,
Elizabeth Hacala
