Doris ‘Mickey’ (Stetser) Webber passed away at Emerson Hospital on January 1, 2019. Named Citizen of the Year in 1995 Mrs. Webber was extremely active in Bedford’s community life through the League of Women Voters, Bedford Center for the Arts, the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary, helping to found the Fawn Lake Sunrise Service on Easter morning, and First Church of Christ, Congregational. She also ran a licensed daycare center; ‘Grammie Mae’ remained in lifelong touch with the nearly 150 youngsters entrusted to her care.
A celebration of Mrs. Webber’s life will be held at the First Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 The Great Rd., Bedford, MA 01730 at 2 pm on Saturday., April 6.
