Sunday was a great day for marching band enthusiasts at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, where the 2018 Massachusetts Instrumental & Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Marching Band State Finals took place. The event began at 10:30 am and continued through 6 pm, showcasing 26 bands of all sizes performing their entertaining field shows.
The MICCA judges evaluated Bedford High School Marching Band as excellent in the categories of Visual Performance, Musical Performance, and Colorguard Performance, leaving them just a few points shy of a silver medal overall.

The band will be playing again at Friday’s homecoming football game at Sabourin Field as well as at the Thanksgiving Day game. Come on out Bedford fans and cheer for our Bedford Buccaneers!
