No switching sides.
Just two volleyball teams getting their competitive teamwork going. Billerica High hosted Bedford to an early Friday morning volleyball scrimmage. Although uniforms weren’t required, Bedford decided it was a good chance to get a feel for competing in their team uniforms.
Although there were only a dozen fans in the stands, the gymnasium echoed with the sound of verbal communication from both sides of the court.
Bedford Bucs start the season with an away match at Boston Latin on September 5, with their home opener the next day against Lincoln-Sudbury.
Billerica opens the season at home against Woburn on September 4.
