Bedford Town Government at Work for the Week of July 9, 2018

The Selectmen, the Trails Committee, and the Planning Board will meet in the coming week.

On July 9 at 7:30 pm the Selectmen will review a revised charge for the Energy Committee, which includes a name change to “Energy and Sustainability Committee.” Once the new committee is established committee members will be appointed/reappointed to the committee. An executive session will take place at 8:25.

The Trails Committee will meet on Tuesday, July 10 at 7:30 pm in the conference room at DPW. The primary agenda item is a review of trails in Wetlands; Irene Road trail to York CA; trail from Old Causeway Rd to Peppergrass Brook CA (Conservation Area); Washington St bridge trail, Old Middlesex Rd trail.

The Planning Board will also meet on July 10, at 7:30 pm in the Town Hall. The Board will hold a “Zoning Amendment Workshop” for its members including a possible adult entertainment zone, Great Road Design Standards, an update on the Navy Hanger and possibly other issues.
