Louise Kiernan Beecy passed away in Tampa, Florida at age 93. Mrs. Beecy began her career teaching in the Bedford schools, left to found a private kindergarten when her eldest daughter was 5 and returned to complete a 30-year career in the English Department. She also served the Town as a Library Trustee and School Committee member.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, June 22, 2018, in Saint Michael’s Church, 90 Concord Road, Bedford. An Irish Wake/Luncheon to celebrate Louise’s life will be held immediately following at Waxy O’Connors (upstairs), 94 Hartwell Ave. in Lexington.
