Rte 225 Bridge Update: Paving Moved Forward to Wednesday at 8 pm

Residents received a Robo Call on Tuesday afternoon because the projected date for repaving the Rte 225 bridge over the Concord River has been changed by MassDOT.

The paving is now scheduled to begin at 8 pm on Wednesday, May 9 and conclude around 4 pm on Thursday, May 10. As earlier reported, the work was originally scheduled for Friday, May 11 from 6 am until 9 pm.

According to the Bedford Police Twitter feed on Tuesday evening, Bedford residents will still be able to travel to & from their homes via Carlisle Road. Commuter traffic will be detoured to Rt. 4 into & from Billerica. Monitor AM 1640, Town of Bedford radio for info.
