Although it may be a day for wellies and snow pants, Bedford Family Connection’s bunny volunteers will hide hundreds (or maybe thousands!) of spring eggs at the Davis School playground on Saturday, March 24. Why? So that Bedford youngsters can experience the thrill of the hunt when they find them!
The annual egg hunt begins at 4 pm and according to the organizers, “The eggs have historically been found very quickly. Come on time so you don’t miss the fun!”
The eggs are hidden in plain sight, in areas designated by children’s age. There will be separate egg hunting areas for children ages 0-2 and 2-4, while those children 4+ will be searching in the trees behind the playground.
Bring your own basket to fill with the eggs you find, and a camera to take a photo with an eggs-tra special visit from the Easter Bunny himself! Many thanks to Sheena Santos Real Estate for sending the Easter Bunny and providing the prize baskets!
If the weather’s awful on Saturday, the hunt will take place on Sunday, March 25th at 4 pm.
In addition, the Bedford Family Connection BFC will be collecting nut free school snacks for students in need. Please consider donating a box of individually packaged snacks.
So grab your baskets and hop on down to the BFC’s annual egg hunt for an egg-citing time! Everyone leaves with a prize, plus 3 lucky kids will win a golden egg prize basket!
