Many town boards are working to complete recommendations on articles to appear before the Annual Town meeting in March.

The Selectmen will be voting on budgets for their departments.  New requests include an increase of $70,000 for operation of the restored Shawsheen wellfield and a request for $80,000 to support personnel costs for Springs Brook Park. The Selectmen will vote to approve the ATM warrant including capital budget requests.

The Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing on their spring 2018 projects and later will review FY19 requests. Capital items, all funded by Community Preservation, they include $429,828 for the Davis Road Boardwalk, Wilson Filed design, Job Lane Playground, and Springs Brook Park rehabilitation and water quality improvements.
