Stories about the environment rose to the top: Storm damage, maple tar spot, pulling garlic mustard, and the Special Town Meeting initiative that would point Bedford toward becoming a NetZero community

Housing at the former Coast Guard property on Pine Hill Road, now Pine Hill Crossing, pulled several stories into the top 50, along with an opinion piece about the blues that affect many of us when another small house comes down.

At long last, the Post Office moved into permanent, indoor quarters, and the Planning Board hosted a midday “Walkshop” to discuss changes to Willson Park.

A plethora of public safety stories garnered readers – the body found at the boat landing, bank robberies, fires, car crashes, and a Bedford firefighter ‘paying it forward’ by treating customers in line behind him to cups of coffee.

But that was then, 2017.

Looking forward to 2018, what are your hopes, dreams, and goals for Bedford?

While we don’t believe in New Year’s Resolutions, we do look forward to talking with Town leaders to begin a conversation about where Bedford might be headed in 2018.

Happy New Year, and please let us know what you think!
