Adults and children danced and took part in games DJ’d by Party On Productions who donated their services.  This year’s activities also included face painting, coloring, cookie decorating, making edible dreidels (spinning tops), and numerous arts and crafts. The celebration was free, due to the generous donations of many local businesses.  Dunkin Donuts on Cambridge Street provided special donations.

Raffle [prizes] were donated by several local businesses, and temple members, including bounce passes and gifts from Altitude Trampoline Park, lift tickets for Nashoba Valley Skiing, a certificate for bowling and shoe rentals at Woburn Bowladrome, a gym membership to My Gym in Burlington,  a gift package for Bedford Farms Ice Cream, and haircuts at Snip-Its. There were also many toy baskets donated by temple members.

Guests were invited to stop in to the see the “Mitzvah Mall.”  ‘Mitzvah’ is the Hebrew word for commandment.  It is a commandment to do a good deed or a Mitzvah.  The Mitzvah Mall hosted projects presented by the temple’s 6th and 7th grade religious school students, who exhibited information about charities meaningful to them.  This year’s charities included Alzheimer’s disease, the ASPCA, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
