Col. Roman L. Hund, Commander of the 66th Air Base Group at Hanscom Air Force Base, welcomed civic leaders, industry partners, and the press to the base on Wednesday morning, September 13, to learn in specific (albeit unclassified) detail about the advanced technology that is developed at Hanscom.
Among the guests with Bedford connections: State Representative Ken Gordon (D-Bedford), Selectman Michael Rosenberg, Planning Director Tony Fields, Council on Aging Director Alison Cservenschi, as well as Ed Koetting and Courtney Purswell of Bedford’s Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA Hospital.
The Citizen‘s reporter John Laferriere covered some of the technology on display and visited the air field’s flight line where aircraft that utilize the tools developed at Hanscom were on display. His report will post on Monday, September 18, the 70th birthday of the US Air Force.
