Summer Jobs for Teens through the 2017 Massport Grant

The Town of Bedford has been awarded a grant from Massport to fund summer jobs for teens who live in the communities served by Massport including the Hanscom Field communities of Bedford, Concord, Lexington, and Lincoln. The program, initiated and funded by Massport in 1991, assists communities in meeting their increased social service, recreation, and maintenance needs, assisting high school, college and post-graduate students to find summer employment.

Teens who are residents of one of the Towns listed above and are enrolled in an educational program (high school, college or postgraduate) are eligible to apply for this program in the Town of Bedford. Workers in the area of Conservation Land Maintenance are particularly invited to apply. The work period will begin will begin early to mid-July and will run for four to five weeks into August. The Town of Bedford is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, June 22, and may be downloaded from the Town’s website: www.bedfordma.gov/employment or picked up in person at Town Hall.
