Kara Shelmire Makes the Most of Her Pitching Start in 13-1 Win Over Wayland

With Back to back softball games on Monday and Tuesday, Bedford Varsity gave Junior, Kara Shelmire the start pitching against Wayland in a 13-1 victory on Tuesday.

Kara ended the day with three Ks and never faced more than 5 batters in an inning.

Senior, Liz Carter went 2 for 4 with a triple and scored two runs.

Junior, Megan Beecy had her best game yet scoring the first two times on the bases.

Capt. Nicole Kennedy played second base and ended the game in the 5th inning with a walk-off double.

Bedford Varsity is currently 5-5, with a home game on Friday against Weston.
