No Bedford Students were Involved in Rte. 3 School Bus Crash

Local news sources, including NBC Boston and the Bedford Patch, reported a school bus accident on Route 3, southbound just before Exit 26, during this morning’s commute.

The Bedford School Department confirmed that it was not a Bedford Charter bus carrying Bedford students, and the Massachusetts State Police Concord Barracks confirmed that it was a Lowell school bus.

According to the news sources, 19 students were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.

First responders from Bedford Police and Fire departments were on the scene along with State Police.
