Who knew that the Bedford Girls’ Lacrosse team (GLax) was going to be the breakout sports team for Spring 2017?
Last week’s snowstorms forced Bedford Varsity to play three home games this week.

GLax started off Monday with a convincing win over Stoneham 19-12.
They followed up that victory with a second one against Tewksbury 12-6 at Sabourin Field in the cold on Wednesday.
Bedford jumped out to a 2-0 lead with less than a minute played.
Today, April 6, they host Boston Latin at 3:45 PM, even though more cold temperatures and rain are expected.
Sabourin Field is the only artificial turf in town, and is typically in game ready condition, even when the sod fields are still mired in mud.
The Girl’s Varsity team has five consecutive away games. after this home stand.
