Residents’ telephones are apt to ring again tomorrow during the second day of the 2017 Citizens Scholarship Foundation/Dollars for Scholars Phone-A-Thon.
Bedford High School students are calling from MITRE Corporation in a now-traditional rite of spring, devised to raise monies that will fund scholarships for the town’s graduates.
Generosity is appreciated and will be rewarded by the smiles and gratitude of the recipients when the awards are made.
Phone calls will be made again on Sunday, then letters will go out to secure pledges and to contact residents who were not home when their call came.
