Bedford and Concord-Carlisle (CCHS) last met in a holiday match-up on the parquet at TD Garden in Boston.

Bedford kept the game close at the start, down by only 3 points – 20-17 – at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter took the wind out of the Buccaneers sails. The BUCS hit the doldrums and went 5:43 without sinking a shot. The CCHS lead was just too great for Bedford to overcome with a final score of 69-59.

Noticeably absent from the game was Junior Captain Jack Cowan who was injured and sitting on the bench sporting an ankle boot.

Highlights of the game:

  • More than 100 Bedford Fans filled the stands of CCHS.
  • Senior Captain Tim Cowan and the best all-around game between steals, foul shooting and acrobatic shots at the net.
  • Sophomore Brennan Bordok made the most of his minutes scoring multiple times from off the bench

With a 14-6 record, the Bucs are expected to go on to post-season play.
