Where is the only place that the American flag flies 24 hours a day – never raised, never lowered, and never saluted?* Attend the CSF of Bedford Dollars for Scholars Trivia Night on Saturday and find out.

Two-time (2015 and 2016) CSF Trivia Night champions will be on hand to defend their title. Are you ready to challenge their record? First Place team members included Anne Kerwin, Rosie O’Brien, Nancy Drinan, Kevin Drinan, Nancy Phillips, Jim O’Brien, Jess Noble, Kate Kerwin-Mason, Steve Kerwin and Steve Phillips. Have you ever imagined a moment when you were able to dazzle your spouse, kids, and/or friends with your amazing ability to provide a gem of information that no one else was able to get off the tip of their tongue?  You and your tablemates will have just that opportunity by sharing your table’s responses at the CSF Citizens Scholarship Foundation Trivia Night on Saturday, February 4.

“CSF will host our third Annual Trivia Night with proceeds to be awarded to Bedford graduating seniors. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to support the success of our graduating seniors. Trivia Night is an opportunity for friendly competition and includes prizes, an interesting array of raffles, snacks/drinks, and desserts. Don’t miss it!” summarized CSF President Janet Werth.

Trivia Night Coordinator Ron Stewart reported, “The CSF of Bedford Dollars for Scholars program awarded $116,000 in scholarships to 93 members of the Class of 2016. Since 1965, the CSF of Bedford has provided over $2 million of scholarship awards to graduating students living in Bedford, on Hanscom Air Force Base, and/or attending Bedford High School. There is nothing trivial about this record of sustained support for Bedford students.”

Trivia Master and Bedford resident Debbie Hughes has selected trivia from 10 categories that include Pictures, History/Geography, Movies, TV Themes, Songs, Science/Nature, Sports/Leisure, Entertainment, General Trivia, and Who Am I? Each category is comprised of 10 questions of varying degrees of difficulty. Have no fear of being on the hot seat for an answer. You and your tablemates will confer and submit the best answer for your table on your score sheet.

The doors of the St. Michael Parish Hall at 90 Concord Road will open at 6 pm on Saturday. Many tables coordinate their dinner effort and bring picnic suppers or local take out favorites for a group dinner to fuel themselves prior to the official start of the trivia competition at 6:45 pm.  Complimentary water, sodas and desserts will be provided. Each table seats eight to 10 players. The cost is $25 per person. Please contact Bobbie Ennis at 781-275-6874 ([email protected]) to reserve your spot.

SAVE THE DATE: Mark your calendar for the CSF Bedford Dollars for Scholars Phone-a-thon at MITRE on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5, 2017.
