Bedford High School’s Varsity Indoor Track team split their meet against Boston Latin at the Boston University Indoor Track and Tennis Center earlier this week.

BHS senior Alexis Cormier, Bedford’s only competitor in the one-mile run, held off the Boston Latin runner with a sprint to the finish – Click here to see the full-sized four-panel image. Junior Logan Brust also captured first place in his contest.

The boys’ team won 52-44, but the girls lost 61-38. Although this was a head to head competition, multiple teams competed against each other at the same time. The BHS girls ran well, but Boston Latin team fielded 22 runners, twice Bedford’s total and so were able to accumulate additional points in each event by taking additional places.
