As Early Voting ended at 4 pm this afternoon, Town Clerk Doreen Tremblay seemed to take pride in its success. While the official number of early ballots cast isn’t tabulated yet, approximately 30% of Bedford’s registered voters (including this writer, earlier today) participated.

The magnitude of the task involved significant pre-planning and coordination by the Town Clerk and election officials who staffed the Multi-purpose room at Town Hall, five days a week, between October 24 and November 4.

For those who have yet to vote, the polls at the John Glenn Middle School will be open to voters in all precincts between 6 am and 8 pm on Tuesday, November 8.  Click for directions to Bedford’s polling place
