A Celebration of Bedford’s Cultural Community on Saturday, September 24

Bedford-LCCThe Bedford Cultural Council is hosting a reception honoring the FY16 grant recipients (see list below) at the Bedford Free Public Library on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 2-4 pm. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the cultural community in Bedford and mingle with current and past Cultural Council grantees.

State Senator Mike Barrett and State Representative Ken Gordon will say a few words. There will be short presentations by Bedford Embraces Diversity, the Bedford Citizen and Bedford POMS.

Members of the Bedford Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council will be available to answer questions about the new online application process and the grant cycle which closes on October 17th. Light refreshments will be served.

A local affiliate of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Bedford Cultural Council provides grant money to individuals and non-profit organizations in the arts, sciences, education and humanities.  To qualify for a grant, applicants must either reside in Bedford or present a project that benefits a substantial number of Bedford residents.
