Bedford’s Board of Health has a vacancy for one board member that will be filled by a process of joint appointment of the Selectmen and the Board of Health. Residents who are registered to vote in Bedford are eligible to apply for appointment.
Applicants for appointment are asked to complete a Questionnaire for Volunteers, and to send it with a letter of interest and resume to the Office of the Town Manager, 10 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA 01730 by September 30, 2016. Persons who are interested are encouraged to call either the Town Manager’s office at 781-275-1111 or the Board of Health at 781-275-6507 for information about the position, and are also asked to attend a meeting of the Board of Health next scheduled for 7:00 p.m., October 3, 2016 at the Town Center, Fitch Room.
A joint meeting of the Selectmen and the Board of Health members will be scheduled at a later date for the appointment to be made. Term of the appointment will run to the next Town election in March, 2017.
