Lexington-Bedford Bantam Hockey Team Wins in Championship Game

The Lexington-Bedford Bantam A hockey team wrapped up its long, successful season with an exciting 2-1 win over North Andover in the Valley League Bantam South AAA Championship game played in Haverhill this past Sunday afternoon. It was a hard fought battle between the two teams the entire game that ended in a 1-1 tie at the end of regulation play. 

The five-minute overtime period finished scoreless forcing the game into a shootout where Lexington-Bedford outscored North Andover 2-1 in the nail biting shootout to secure the victory.

Bedford residents on the team included Chris Walsh, Bobby Marcus, Sean Doucet and Coach Chris Doucet.
