In-store Aerialists & Acrobats Salute Pollinators: Whole Foods Market ~ April 20, 10 am to Noon

Submitted by Whole Foods Market

WFM-CM 2016Circus Maine will provide an amazing performance of acrobatic and aerial Bumble Bees, who will fly, flip, and soar through Whole Foods Market at Bedford Marketplace,   170 Great Road, from 10 am to noon on Wednesday, April 20.

The Queen Bee and her minions will dazzle and delight while Bella Bee sweetens the scene with a honey tasting and interactive display. Earth Day has been a time to celebrate environmental protection, and Whole Foods Market in Bedford will share the buzz by hosting performers from Circus Maine, along with the New England Center for Circus Arts, the Bella Bee Company and Merrimack Valley Apiaries.

In addition to the performing Bumble Bees, the store will feature pollinator-friendly product signage, and support the companies that donate dollars and resources to pollinator sustainability.

“Circus Maine is delighted to have our internationally acclaimed performers offer tribute to Whole Foods Markets’ ongoing promotion towards a healthy and vibrant lifestyle,” said Circus Maine’s Artistic Advisor Cory Tabino. “Acrobatics is one of the most physically demanding art forms in the world. It is the art of executing daring feats of strength and flexibility in the air and on the ground directly defying one of the most powerful forces in all of our lives—gravity.”
