More than 50 women came together for the 7th Annual Bedford Womenade Spring Fundraiser. This year’s event was dedicated to the family of Dave Timperio, former Massachusetts State Police Trooper and respected coach of Bedford football, basketball and lacrosse. Attendees enjoyed Kamate Fitness classes, spa services, silent auctions and raffles and breakfast all for a good cause. If you were unable to attend, contributions can be made to Timperio Boys Fund c/o Watertown Savings Bank.

Tabletop“Farmer Sandy” Couvee was busy today giving two-year old Tabletop a little spa treatment of her own in preparation of her first lambing due around March 24th.

Eleven-year old 4-H member, Ben Couvee, was proud to introduce two-week old Dakota, an Angus/Holstein cross breed. Dakota was born on another farm and came to Chip-in Farm at four-days old. Ben is her primary caretaker. His duties include, but are not limited to, giving Dakota an early morning bottle of milk before he heads off the school. It is clear to see that the two have become fast friends.
