In their November 16 meeting, the Selectmen approved a fields use policy, an agreement for social services, and a license for a new restaurant on Middlesex Turnpike.
Field Policy Approved
The Selectmen reviewed and approved “Use Policies for Athletic Fields and other Recreational Facilities,” recently revised by the Recreation Department and the Fields Partnership (staff members of Recreation, School Athletics, and Public Works .) The Policy addresses allocation, permitting and scheduling as well as maintenance and user policies.
Agreement Signed for Social Services with the Bedford Housing Authority
The Board signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Bedford Housing Authority for support of social services to Housing Authority residents. The services will be provided by the Life Management Program from Community Teamwork, Inc. of Lowell. The funds from Community Preservation Funds were appropriated at the November 4, 2013 Special Town Meeting.
New Restaurant Coming to Middlesex Turnpike
A Common Victualler’s License was granted to El Colima Restaurant, a Mexican restaurant to be located at 54 Middlesex Turnpike.
