It was an exciting end to a tough season for the Lexington-Bedford-Hanscom Raiders E-team who finished with a shutout win over the Lowell Red Raiders, 33-0.

The Raiders took the field for their final game of the 2015 season and scored on their opening possession on a 20-yard TD run by Aidan Brunner and extra point by Aden Cook.  All of this was done behind the blocking of Elijah Rolland, Anthony Williams, Connor Chisholm, Sasha Bailey, Miguel Bannister, Chase Brazee and James Lorusso.

The Raiders offense didn’t stop there and scored two more times in the first half.  First, a 30-yard run by Aidan Brunner and extra point scored by Aden Cook and secondly, a 25-yard run by Elijah Rolland with the extra point scored by Dylan Higson.  The Raiders entered halftime with a score of 21-0.

The Raiders defense kept the pressure on in the second half led by the strong tackling of Conor Monaghan, Peter Kittredge, Noah Myers, Xavier Eatmon, Jayce Szatkowski and Ethan Leavitt.

The offense scored two more times in the second half.  First, there was a beautiful pass by Alex Carleton to a wide open Elijah Rolland with no conversion and second, an amazing 90-yard run by Aden Cook who couldn’t be caught.

The littlest Raiders had a tough 2015 but ended with a strong performance.  Thanks to all the fans for their support and loud cheering.  The E-team may be done with their season but will be there to cheer on their fellow D-Team in the playoffs next Sunday, November 8th.
