Bedford Memories: Stories of a Small Town, a new documentary created by video producer and Bedford resident Leslie Wittman and supported by Carleton-Willard Village, will be shown at the Council on Aging at 7 pm on November 9.
Located in the Town Center (yellow) building, the Council on Aging invites the community to attend this special screening, no matter their age.
A living history, Bedford Memories chronicles life in Bedford throughout the last century as the town grew from a small farming community to the vibrant community it is today.
The video features stories of longtime residents – Donna Argon, Barbara Clifford, Joseph Damery, Dorothy Ellis, John Filios, Brown and Lois Pulliam, Charles “Duke” Steffanelli, John Stewart, Marcia Sternberg and Roger Thurell- who share their memories of a town that is a wonderful place to live and work.
Interspersed with historical photos, the interviews present engaging and often amusing snapshots of Bedford life in the days long before computers and cell phones.
