The 4H Farmer’s Club of Bedford had a great showing at the 4H fair this weekend! The kids all worked very hard, and should be very proud. I know all the parents and leaders are.

Here’s a list of some of the awards the club members received:
Adam Colburn: Revolving Trophy award for Judging, and 1st place award for Sheep Blocking. Adam won ribbons in 6 sheep classes at the Junior Level: Showmanship, Fitting, Breed (2 sheep), Market Lamb
Savanna Colburn: 3 first place ribbons in Craft, Art and Woodworking; and 3 second place ribbons in Craft, Art and Woodworking.
Ben Couvee: Sheep department: Champion Shropshire, Best in Breed; 3rd place Junior Blocking; and 2nd place Junior Judging
Emmet Daley: Top novice for Pocket Pets, and Best in Breed for Syrian hamsters
Shannon Driscoll: Meat Goat, Novice: 1st place, Showmanship; 1st place, Fitting; 1st place, Costume Contest; and 2nd place Breed Class. Sheep Novice: 1st place, Showmanship; 1st place, Fitting; 2nd place, Breed Class; 2nd place, Education Display; and Top Novice award.
Dante Giusti: 1st Place, Herdsmanship in Beef; 1st place, Breed Class; 2nd Place, Showmanship and Fitting.
Victoria Hand: Multiple Best in Breed ribbons for poultry; 3rd place, Senior Poultry Showmanship; and multiple 1st place ribbons in Food Department and Craft.
Skye Korroch: Top Junior Beef Exhibitor; Top Beef Exhibitor; Top Individual Beef Exhibitor; Champion Beef Showman; and Best of Show Beef
Meghan Lyle: Top Novice award in Writing
Theo Lyle: Top Novice award in Writing
Audrey Mendenhall: Top Novice award for Poultry Showmanship; Top Junior award in Craft, Dairy, Honey, Needlework and Flower departments.
Megan Mendenhall: Poultry, Best Bird in Show, and Best Bantam. Top Novice award in Craft, Dairy, Needlework, Honey and Vegetable departments.
Lucas Rodriguez: Top Novice award, Swine.
Eva Scolo: Meat Goat Novice: 1st place Breed Class; 2nd place Fitting; 2nd place Showmanship; Most Knowledgeable Goat Novice; and 1st place ribbons in Craft, Food and art departments.
Marcie Venuti: Cloverbud ribbon for Artwork
Ethan Washington: 1st place for Herdsmanship in Dairy; 1st in Showmanship and Fitting; and 2nd in Beef Breed Class.
