Familiar faces and friendly smiles were on the menu along with homemade blueberry pancakes at the annual Bedford Day Breakfast for Military at First Church of Christ, Congregational.

Young and old gathered together and lingered, even after the pancakes were gone.  The  festivities were to honor all military, active duty and veteran alike.  This special breakfast is free of charge for them and their families.

This Bedford Day tradition began several years ago as “Thank a Soldier” from the Bedford community to all military, active duty and veterans alike …

The breakfast may be  free of charge to these military and their families, but the expression of gratitude is priceless.
