16th Annual Bedford Arts and Crafts Society's Regional Art Exhibition Winners Announced

The Bedford Arts and Crafts Society announced the winners of their 16th annual Regional Arts Exhibition on Friday.

The winner of the 2015 BACS scholarship is Michelle Wang, and there were prize winners in the following categories: Watercolor, Oil/Acrylic/Pastel, Print/Drawing, Sculpture/3-Dimensional/Fiber Arts, and Photography.

The show will be open on Bedford Day and a ceremony to award the prizes will take place at 1 pm.

Watercolor

First Place: Deborah Wright – Vegetable Still Life
Second Place: John J. Giannino – Dory’s at Booth Bay
Honorable Mention: Jacqui Garabedian – Phoebie’s Cat

Oil/Acrylic/Pastel

First Place: Louise Banner – Cosmic Vision II
Second Place: Paul Purchia – Early Fall in New England
Honorable Mention: Jeanne Reidy – New Wave and Cynthia Rodday – Chilkat Preserve

Print/Drawing

First Place: Doris Smith – Autumn 2014
Second Place: Barb Davis – Cash Cow
Honorable Mention: Meeta Mathur – Family Portrait and Anita Feld – Book of Numbers
