Arriving at the Morton residence last May Bedford firefighters assigned to Group 2  had never before delivered a newborn, but they now refer to Miss Evelyn Morton as “their baby.”

Evy’s decision to come into the world without a trip to the nearest hospital resulted in the Bedford ambulance’s first stork sticker, with a second arriving just a few weeks later!

Little Evy continues to keep life exciting both at home and at  Bedford Children’s Center where she and her brother attend school.

She started to walk at 8 months and is a happy, lively little girl who will one day realize just how cool it is to have ‘her’ stork sticker in first place on Ambulance 1.
