At the end of Thursday’s Finance Committee meeting, members saluted retiring FinCom member Barbara Perry on her 24 years of service, celebrating with cake, compliments and congratulations.

Finance Committee Chair Stephen Steele appreciated Perry’s generosity in answering his questions — of which there were many over time, and Vice-chair Ben Thomas congratulated Perry’s attitude, “You never let it get stale.” Perry shared that as a young college graduate she hoped to work in a field that would always have new horizons to conquer, and that she had accomplished that goal within the Finance Committee.
