How can you build and use flying robots? How do gyroscopes work and what are they good for? What other engineering projects can you build and test with your own hands?

The show, appropriate for Grades K-12, will be presented by engineers from Draper Laboratory, and volunteers from the audience will be able to assist with lots of fun on-stage demonstrations. After the stage show, there will be many different hands-on activity tables where kids can explore various aspects of engineering.

The one-hour programs are free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required, but seating is limited – first come, first seated. Parental/adult escort is required for all children under 12.

Attendees can park in either the West Garage (very close to the event) or Albany Garage (a ~10-15-minute walk from the event) provided they can pay the $6 flat fee with a credit card at either parking garage.

Alternatively, attendees can take MBTA buses to the MIT Massachusetts Avenue stop (very close to the event) or the subway to either the Central or Kendall Square T stops (a ~20-minute walk from the event).

For maps of the event and parking garage locations, please see the attached advertising flier or our web page https://edgerton.mit.edu/scienceonsaturday
